Have you used kinesiology tape before? Kinesiology tape is used by many people to help improve their bodies’ ability to heal. When this tape placed on sore muscle areas, the skin slightly lifted away from sore or injured tissues. This action improves blood flow and lymphatic drainage. Taping can also provide needed support and stability to sore muscles and joints. While there are many different kinds of kinesiology tape available, one that we recommend is CanDo® Kinesiology Tape.
CanDo® Kinesiology Tape is made from cotton/rayon fibers that are latex-free and hypoallergenic. Athletic trainers can use CanDo® Kinesiology Tape for injury prevention and rehabilitation of athletes. This tape is skin-friendly and has a wave-like acrylic adhesive on one side that pushes sweat and moisture away from the tape. It can be stretched lengthways by 30-40% and it is water-resistant and air permeable. By wearing this tape, athletes can go into games without worrying about the breathability or adhesiveness of the tape.
CanDo® Kinesiology Tape comes in single rolls or a pack of 10 for multiple athletes. If you are an Athletic Trainer, you are most likely going to want to go for the 10 pack as you may treat more than one athlete with kinesiology tape at a time. Rolls also come in different lengths and colors depending on how much you need and what color you or your athletes prefer. It is important to stock up to make sure you have enough to get athletes performing at their best.
